ABOUT US
DIABETES INDIA YOUTH IN ACTION
Founded in 2017 by an enthusiastic group of Type 1 diabetics in Delhi, Diabetes India Youth in Action (DIYA) is a non for profit organization that aims to de-stigmatize and raise awareness about Diabetes. DIYA offers different ways to create a sense of community among individuals with Type 1 and their families. It not only provides education and recreation within a giant supportive network of over 1000 people across the country, but also empowers the diabetics to understand and take control of their diagnosis. DIYA’s advocacy efforts are committed to bring T1 diabetics together to share honest and raw snapshots of dealing with “highs” and “lows” of their diabetic life.
